Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a Controller to join our team in the construction sector, based in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be overseeing all corporate accounting, managing the financial planning and budgeting processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of month-end close.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting and ensure adherence to standards
Manage the financial planning process, setting budgets and forecasts
Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the month-end close procedures
Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate records and streamline operations
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to ensure all financial transactions are accurate and timely
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
Oversee the construction accounting operations, ensuring accurate cost tracking and job costing
Implement and manage budget processes to ensure financial efficiency and cost control

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient in using Accounting Software Systems
Demonstrated expertise in managing all Accounting Functions
Skilled in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experienced in conducting Auditing processes
Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential
Knowledge of Construction Accounting is a plus
