Job Description:

The role is highly visible, reporting to leadership, and is managing a small team of accounting professionals. The company is looking for the Controller to bring the right mix of skills and project management to look at how processes and workflow can be optimized.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee preparation of month-end financials for entities with review and narrative on actual vs. plan results
Take an active hand in processes, improving close timeliness, improving AP and cash mgmt
Oversee the review for balance sheet, consolidation, forecasts, budget, external audit relations, financial performance packages, etc.
Managing and mentoring of a dedicated, professional team.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Advanced degree is a plus)
10+ Years progressive experience
prior supervisory experience
Manufacturing industry experience is a must.
Any prior public accounting or CPA effort is just a nice plus.
Strong mix of overseeing transactional accounting areas (AP AR PR etc)
History of process improvement – personality to get 360 buy-in.
Knowledge of ERP systems
