Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller with manufacturing experience to join our team and play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and fostering collaboration across departments. This position is on-site 5 days a week and located in Dover, NJ. The Controller will serve as a key financial leader within the organization, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting while supporting various business functions.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the full general ledger process, including analyzing and reconciling accounts for accuracy and completeness
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including providing detailed monthly variance reports
Manage the annual audit process and work closely with external firms to ensure compliance with tax regulations
Supervise treasury functions, including cash flow management, and assist with annual insurance renewals
Monitor, enforce, and improve compliance with internal controls and organizational policies
Collaborate with multiple departments to address and resolve accounting-related issues
Take ownership of ad-hoc financial projects and other duties as needed

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
A minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience
Eligibility to work in the United States
Must have Manufacturing Industry experience
ERP system experience, with preference given to those with experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice to have:

Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment
Flexibility and adaptability to shifting demands, priorities, and schedules while maintaining a positive outlook
Demonstrated accountability in meeting individual and team objectives
Proven professionalism in both internal interactions and external representation of the company
