Job Description:

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Controller in the R& D industry, at our location in Everett, Washington. This on-site role will require the Controller to manage a small team and utilize NetSuite and Excel software for various tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing
Coordinate and execute the close process efficiently
Supervise staff accountants and work closely with the finance manager and CFO
Utilize your experience in manufacturing and hardwire
Conduct balance sheet account reconciliation and bank reconciliations
Supervise and participate in cash flow analysis and forecasts
Manage the month-end close process
Ensure compliance with CPA standards and regulations
Oversee the preparation of journal entries
Manage the company's budget processes

Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position
Proficiency in Accounting Functions
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in Auditing
Familiarity with Budget Processes
Background in the Manufacturing industry is desirable
CPA certification required
Proficiency in handling General Ledger and Journal Entries
Expertise in Account Reconciliation
Experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation
Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
Experience in creating Cash Flow Forecasts
Ability to manage Month End Close processes

Nice to have:

Background in the Manufacturing industry is desirable
