Job Description:

Are you an Industrial Controls Engineer with experience of designing complex systems from scratch for industrial clients? Do you want a career with a path to the top table? We are a specialist UK manufacturer/systems integrator based in Nottingham. The goal of this Controls Engineer role is to provide our industrial manufacturing/process clients with a complete controls design solution from the initial consultation with the client through to design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of the machinery and systems.

Job Responsibility:

Provide industrial manufacturing/process clients with a complete controls design solution
Design, write PLC/SCADA code and scripts from scratch to meet clients' requirements
Support initial sales with controls/electronic design consultation
Support the manufacturing process from a controls perspective
Work with the installation and commissioning teams during the set-up process

Requirements:

Proven track record as an Industrial Controls Engineer, Systems Integration Engineer, Electrical Design Engineer or Electronic Design Engineer in an industrial environment
Experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Construction, Cement, Materials Handling, Warehousing, Automation, Robotics, Food, Pharmaceutical, Medical processing and production, or Packaging machinery is a bonus
Experience with complex systems and/or process machinery is an obvious bonus
