Job Description:

Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes and standards in a professional kitchen environment at a resort and golf club.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
follow recipes and quality standards
operate kitchen equipment
ensure food quality
maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
develop positive working relationships
adhere to company policies and safety standards
assist with tasks requested by supervisors.

Requirements:

Prepare ingredients for cooking
portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
cook food according to recipes and standards
prepare cold foods
operate cooking appliances
test foods to ensure proper cooking
monitor food quality
set-up and break down work station
serve food in proper portions
wash and disinfect kitchen area, tools, and equipment
follow safety and security policies
maintain professional appearance
stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
lift objects up to 25 pounds
high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience.
