Job Description:

The Coord-Housekeeping role involves managing daily housekeeping activities, coordinating with other departments, ensuring room cleanliness, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of related work experience, and no supervisory experience. The job is located at Courtyard Mexicali, Mexico, and is a full-time onsite position.

Job Responsibility:

Run sold room reports
Verify room status
Determine discrepant rooms
Prioritize room cleaning
Update status of departing guest rooms
Assist Housekeeping management
Act as a liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry
Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
Prepare and distribute room assignments
Record, monitor, and update 'Do Not Disturb' rooms
Ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned on time
Assign rush rooms
Complete required Housekeeping paperwork
Follow company and safety policies
Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain uniform and personal appearance
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Ensure adherence to quality expectations
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Support team to reach common goals
Listen and respond to concerns of other employees
Speak using clear and professional language
Prepare and review written documents
Enter and locate work-related information using computers
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 1 year of related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
