Job Description:

As a Corporate Accounting Specialist, you will not only handle traditional accounting tasks but also engage in critical thinking and collaboration across different groups.

Job Responsibility:

Involved in the preparation and review of financial statements
Responsible for budgeting and financial reporting
Oversee accounting aspects of multiple funds
Engage in critical thinking to solve complex accounting issues
Collaborate with different groups within the organization
Utilize skills in Fund Accounting and Audit
Employ financial audit skills in day-to-day tasks
Move beyond the typical debits/credits role to contribute to the organization's broader financial goals

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience as a Senior Accountant within the Investment Advisory industry
Proficiency in Fund Accounting is a must
Extensive experience in Audit, specifically in the financial sector
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in using accounting software and databases
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication and team management skills
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) will be considered an advantage
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
Strong understanding of financial and investment concepts
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
