Job Description:

The Corporate Controller is a senior-level finance executive responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reporting activities within the organization. This individual plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the company's financial integrity, compliance with regulations, and strategic financial planning. Working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and other executive leaders, the Controller also implements and maintains effective internal controls, streamlines processes, and provides financial insights to drive organizational growth and efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements
ensure compliance with all external reporting requirements
support tax strategy planning and oversee corporate treasury functions
implement and maintain effective internal controls and financial systems/software
provide valuable financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations
coordinate and manage both external and internal audits
maintain strong relationships with external auditors and other financial partners
guide strategic financial initiatives
oversee all accounting and financial reporting activities
provide special reporting and ratios for private equity and banking
lead teams through business improvement processes and initiatives
oversee asset-based lending and banking reporting

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
CPA certification required
additional certifications (e.g., CMA, CFA) are a plus
minimum of 10 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position
previous experience leading finance and operational teams through change
