Our client, a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke, is seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.

Job Responsibility:

Managing corporate tax compliance and advisory assignments for a range of clients
Reviewing tax computations and providing technical support to junior staff
Assisting in tax planning and advisory work, including R&D claims and restructuring projects
Liaising with HMRC and external stakeholders on behalf of clients
Supporting the development of junior team members through training and mentoring
Keeping up to date with tax legislation and advising clients on relevant changes

Requirements:

Must have a minimum of 3 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
ACA/ACCA/CTA qualification
Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance
Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
A proactive and commercial approach to problem-solving
