Job Description:

The role will be integral to our team, focusing on all accounting-related activities for a set of portfolios of properties. The responsibilities will include the processing of customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the processing of annual budgets and project budgets for all development and construction projects
Coordinate and prepare draw requests
Process monthly Full Cycle Employee Billings for Tenant Services and Construction Development
Execute the preparation of quarterly financial statements for land and construction entities
Handle the preparation of annual lender’s financial statements for Brightseat entities
Manage the preparation of quarterly tax packages for land and construction entities
Conduct monthly journal entries and research any outstanding bank reconciliation items
Update monthly annual budgets and project budgets in Yardi/Excel
Process invoices related to “prospective properties” under L/E
Perform job cost reconciliations
Execute other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Cost Accountant role
Proficiency in Job Cost is required
Experience with Construction Loans is necessary
Must be skilled in Account Reconciliation
Ability to handle Financial Reporting is a must
Should have experience in managing Journal Entries
Experience in Construction Accounting is essential
