Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Cost Accountant to join our team in the Aerospace industry, located in Rancho Cucamonga, California. In this role, you will be a crucial part of our accounting team, ensuring financial reports and analysis are prepared accurately and in a timely manner. You will also provide key insights through your financial analysis to support business decisions.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
Assisting with special reporting in standard, job and direct cost
Ensuring financial reports and analysis are prepared accurately and in accordance with corporate policies, generally accepted accounting principles, and applicable regulations and laws
Providing business partnership to the accounting team
Applying your skills in Manufacturing Cost Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Standard Cost Accounting

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a cost accounting role, preferably within the aerospace industry
Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting
Demonstrated expertise in standard cost accounting
Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis
Strong skills in overall financial analysis
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
Excellent analytical skills, with a detailed understanding of how numbers affect a business
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel
Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems
Strong attention to detail, with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and implement solutions
Knowledge of the aerospace industry and its unique financial requirements
