Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant for an on-site opportunity located in Trumbauersville, Pennsylvania. The Cost Accountant will be instrumental in our team, focusing on the manufacturing sector.

Job Responsibility:

Investigate and rectify any accounting discrepancies within the company's financial processes
Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the tracking and control systems
Leverage strong knowledge in order-to-cash process to manage and optimize cash activity
Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting functions
Develop and implement new processes and SOPs to improve the efficiency of accounting operations
Perform in-depth cost analysis, contributing to the optimization of budget processes
Leverage strong technical accounting skills to manage and oversee manufacturing cost accounting
Work independently, taking initiative and demonstrating problem-solving skills in managing accounting functions
Gain proficiency in the use of JobBoss or similar ERP systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operations

Requirements:

Proficiency in ERP systems
Strong understanding and capability in Accounting Functions
Experience in Auditing roles and responsibilities
Familiarity with Budget Processes and related tasks
Ability to manage Cash Activity and related financial operations
Extensive expertise in Cost Accounting practices and methods
Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting is highly desirable
