Job Description:

Your role will primarily revolve around maintaining and analyzing our inventory and cost data, preparing accurate cost adjustments, and assisting in month-end closing. You will also collaborate with our IT department on system-related issues and contribute to various internal department reporting requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately record all inventory receipts and post item costs in the system
Perform analysis on the average cost of items and prepare necessary cost adjustments
Prepare, analyze and report on gross margin analysis periodically
Assist in the closing of accounts at the end of each month, preparing necessary journal entries, and analyzing inventory evaluation
Collaborate with the IT department on system maintenance and development issues
Analyze cost accounting data and aid in cycle count and physical inventories
Maintain and test internal control documentation
Conduct detailed account analysis and reconcile sales, cost, and inventory liability accounts
Review and analyze inventory and margin reports, conduct research, and perform analytical studies with regards to cost analyses and profitability
Support in special projects as required and assist in internal department reporting requirements
Maintain the item list in the system and create new items when required
Ensure accuracy, validity, and timely submission of inventory reports

Requirements:

Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services
Ability to use Crystal Reports effectively
Experience with Epicor software
Understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Comprehensive knowledge of various Accounting Functions
Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
Demonstrable experience in Auditing
Familiarity with Budget Processes
Ability to handle and manage Cash Activity
