Job Description:

Cogoport is a global trade platform revolutionizing shipping and logistics; the Country Director role is a leadership position to head the launch in Thailand, including team building, P&L management, strategic partnerships, operations, and revenue growth

Job Responsibility:

Hire & groom a strong team for launch & continue to expand teams as we scale
manage the full P&L for the business in Thailand – proposing and executing the business strategies & priorities, growing revenues while optimizing costs & assessing the market for new service/product growth
identify & farm strategic partnerships with supply partners - managing relationships to ensure a win-win situation for both Cogoport & Supply partners
build & groom a strong operations & customer support team that focuses on providing a superior customer experience
grow revenues via both traditional sales & online demand channels by farming relationships with Enterprise, SME clients & channel partners
set up best practices across the organisation based on industry standards & other country operations while at the same time capturing local nuances to ensure the best-in-class experience for both consumers & supply partners
represent Cogoport in public forums and work with government agencies to ensure compliance

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in logistics & supply chain industry with full P&L ownership or ownership of revenues targets
prior experience of hiring & grooming teams working closely with them to build a strong culture of ownership & drive
strong entrepreneurial mindset & self-starter
strong knowledge of supply chain & logistics industry in Thailand and belief in technology improving efficiency & gains in this industry
