We are seeking a dedicated and resilient individual to join our team as a Cover Supervisor and Behaviour Support Assistant. This dual role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to support students in their learning journey.

Job Responsibility:

Provide classroom supervision in the absence of teachers, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment
support the behaviour management strategy, assisting students to meet the school's high expectations
offer guidance and encouragement to students, helping them engage with their work and develop positive attitudes towards learning
collaborate with teaching staff and leadership to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
a calm and assertive approach, with the ability to manage challenging situations effectively
experience working with young people in an educational or pastoral setting is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
