Job Description:

The Credentialing Associate will work closely with our physicians and licensed providers to obtain credentials and/or EMR access with hospitals in all OSH markets. The role will include submission of credentialing forms to government agencies and insurance payers on behalf of our physicians and licensed providers, providing formal documentation of their professional histories, and ensuring a thorough and organized credentialing process. Job Responsibility:

  • Maintaining multiple databases with highly sensitive physician information while streamlining the paperwork process
  • Assisting with physician onboarding to confirm receipt of required documents
  • Processing hospital privilege requests for healthcare facilities other than OSH locations
  • Monitoring the renewal of insurance policies and board certifications
  • Ensuring physicians maintain necessary credentials, such as state licensure, DEA licenses and enrollment with CMS
  • Providing regular updates on credentialing progress to other teams within Oak Street Health
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or two years of related work experience
