Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Credit and Collections Manager to join our client's 8 person team based in Richardson, Texas. The successful candidate will be managing all aspects of Accounts Receivable functions, excluding billing, and will supervise a team of three AR Specialists. This role involves handling the credit management for North America and offers a hybrid work setting.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the credit management function, with approval authority for amounts up to $250K
Manage a team of three AR Specialists, fostering a productive and engaged work environment
Handle all Accounts Receivable functions, excluding billing, to ensure efficient cash management
Leverage automation tools, such as Salesforce, to streamline collections and cash applications processes
Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when necessary
Maintain accurate customer credit records and process credit applications in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

Proven experience in a similar role as a Credit Manager or a related financial position
Proficient understanding of credit-related laws
Exceptional ability in decision-making and negotiation
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Strong understanding and application of financial analysis methodologies
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
Familiarity with credit scoring systems and software
Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Good understanding of risk analysis
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
