Job Description:

At Citi, you will have the chance to join its Risk Management team as a Credit Portfolio Officer responsible for managing Risk and Control aspects around Collateral review, mark to market concerns, and ensuring policy adherence among other responsibilities. The role involves cross-team collaboration, strategic initiatives, and training opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Provide support to Investment Risk manager on Credit Policy & Collateral Management
Drive strategic initiatives and new product launches
Review, identify risk mitigates and manage lending against Insurance Policies
Develop best in class Underwriting Standards
Support the Singapore Franchise in their ‘Winning in Wealth’ strategy
Identify and establish/enhance key controls by leading technology upgrades/automation
Co-ordinate and work with stakeholders in improving Risk & Control processes
Prepare risk management presentations for senior management
Build and participate in cross team relationships
Provide adequate training to team members and other functional stakeholders
Assist in GRR and other regulatory reviews
Identify, escalate existing and potential risks.

Requirements:

At least 10-12 years of work experience in Credit policy and/or Margin Lending in Consumer/Private Banking
Finance/Math/Stat/Engg. degree
Experience in working on Insurance Premium Financing across Product Management / Risk Policy
Knowledge of wealth management, understanding of global financial market and dynamics of financial instruments
Understanding of BASEL III / IFRS9 and expertise in different capital treatments for Investment Lending Product offerings
Excellent analytical skills
Demonstrates strong ethics and integrity
Problem recognition skills
Experience in SAS, Data analytics technique and programming
Sensitivity to macro and regulatory issues
Good communication skills
Be an effective team player and also coach junior staff.

Nice to have:

Experience in SAS, Data analytics technique and programming
Experience in working on Insurance Premium Financing across Product Management / Risk Policy.
