Job Description:

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst in Chicago, Illinois. The role is within an industry where you will be expected to manage credit risk and conduct data analyses. This position will require you to work closely with internal teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and present business cases for new initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise
Handle customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
Conduct in-depth data analyses to assess risk and performance metrics
Collaborate with internal departments to devise and implement risk mitigation strategies
Keep track of industry trends and economic factors that can influence credit risk
Develop, implement, and maintain credit risk models and tools
Prepare and present comprehensive risk reports to senior management
Develop business cases for new credit risk initiatives using your analytical skills
Build and maintain economic models to measure the profitability of credit risk initiatives

Requirements:

Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Adeptness in Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Ability to handle Accounts Receivable (AR)
Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis
Experience in Collection Processes
Strong understanding of Credit and Credit Application processes
Capability to work with Microsoft SQL
Proficiency in Python
