The Credit Risk Management Services (CRMS) Senior Analyst is responsible for capturing and recording data on credit exposures, obligors, and facilities in relevant credit systems. The role includes ensuring data quality in credit systems, monitoring credit exposure, reviewing legal documentation, and escalating document deficiencies. Key responsibilities also include driving business process transformations, designing technology implementations, and collaborating with stakeholders across multiple business verticals.
Job Responsibility:
Legal Documentation controls: review for completeness and ensuring retention in accordance with laws and internal risk policies
Research legal documents to identify specific clauses and transfer data into a loan referential database
Collateral Process Management: recording, monitoring and reporting of collateral provided by the obligor against the credit sanctioned
Maintain status of pending deferrals and deficiencies ensuring follow-up
Act as advisor or coach to new or junior level personnel
Produce and provide training and support to CRMS staff and business constituents
Influence strategic functional decisions
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made to ensure compliance
Drive business process transformation and deliver tangible results in terms of efficiencies and strong controls
Effective stakeholder engagement across multiple business verticals in Corporate Banking and Commercial Banking
Design and implement technology including testing and rollout
Partner with Originating and Coverage business lines, Independent Risk, Operations, Legal, etc., to ensure strategic vision is enabled
Ensure processes meet internal policies and regulatory requirements
Improve processes, controls, and efficiencies within the group and credit lifecycle
Lead projects to enhance performance and efficiency
Requirements:
5-8 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of BFSI (Banking & Financial Services Industry) sector
Working knowledge of risk management concepts
Strong leadership skills and experience in managing teams
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage priorities, and complete assigned tasks with minimal management follow-up
Quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel and Microsoft-based programs
Familiarity with Tableau or visualization tools
Keen attention to detail
Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
Client relationship and solution skills
Nice to have:
Professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business-related field or an MBA
