Job Description:

We are seeking a Criminal Law Litigation Legal Assistant to join our law firm client's team in Phoenix, Arizona near the Biltmore. In this role, you will be performing key tasks such as calendaring, docketing, court filings, and other administrative-related duties. This position is an in-office role with standard Monday to Friday office hours.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and organize court filings and documents accurately
Administer and maintain case management software for client relations
Efficiently handle calendar management, scheduling court dates and deadlines
Utilize Aderant and Adobe Acrobat for various legal tasks
Engage in effective communication with clients and team members
Oversee claim administration and billing functions
Exhibit a strong understanding of criminal law and criminal defense litigation

Requirements:

Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the legal industry
Proficiency in using Aderant
Ability to use Adobe Acrobat for document management and editing
Experience with Case Management Software
Knowledge of Billing Functions
Strong skills in Calendar Management
Experience with Claim Administration
Demonstrated abilities in maintaining detail-oriented and positive relationships with clients
Excellent Communication skills
Substantial knowledge of Criminal Law
Proven experience in Criminal Defense Litigation

Nice to have:

Bilingual (Spanish) communication skills
