As a Critical Care Specialist, you will represent Baxter's products, building relationships and trust with healthcare professionals, developing accounts, promoting innovative technologies, and facilitating therapy utilization in hospital settings.
Job Responsibility:
Grow Starling therapy in existing accounts
Develop consultative role to promote hemodynamic monitoring
Build relationships and provide customer service
Grow QNRG+ metabolic therapy in existing and new accounts
Promote hospital-wide Fluid Management therapy
Optimize education offerings
Analyze and plan territory goals for 1-3 years
Coordinate growth and expansion opportunities
Develop relationships with healthcare professionals
Enhance therapy utilization in acute spaces
Work with TBM groups to understand opportunities
Assist in contract negotiations with TBM group
Requirements:
Preferred BSN and 3+ years’ experience
RN with critical care medicine (ICU/OR/ED)
6+ years relevant experience
Candidates without a degree but with 8+ years of medical device, hemodynamic monitoring, and/or metabolic monitoring experience
Prior experience selling to Hemodynamic and/or Patient Monitoring and Capital Equipment markets
2 or more years sales experience required preferably in the medical device industry
Critical Care Nursing background preferred
Strong, demonstrated expertise in product and therapy knowledge
Ability to travel up to 50% overnight
Proven ability to take a positive, proactive approach to solving clinical or technical problems
Critical ability to view macro and micro overviews of territory business
Strong organization and time management skills
Proven ability to start new therapy programs
Demonstrated ability to instruct
Demonstrated self-confidence
Ability to manage pricing contracts and renewals
Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office)
Ability to interact professionally with medical staff
