Job Description:

The Customer Service Coordinator role supports the in-store customer experience team, overseeing day-to-day operations, troubleshooting incidents, enhancing the shopping journey for visitors, and ensuring a positive customer journey through collaboration and team mindset.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations that are assigned by the Team Leader, including opening and/or closing duties for the unit which also include key and alarm code responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and apply appropriate corrective actions such as emergency and incident response, authorization, access, etc.
  • Enhance the shopping journey of our visitors to IKEA by collaborating with all functions to increase co-worker competence and knowledge
  • Ensure customers receive consistent information throughout their shopping journey
  • Record information in the relevant systems to improve the customer's future shopping experience
  • Enhance customer relationships to boost sales and ensure sustained profitability by understanding IKEA’s product range and services
  • Forge a team mindset centered around first time right for every customer, ensuring a positive customer journey
  • Take part in additional department responsibilities to secure the daily operation for co-workers and customers
  • Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers

Requirements:

  • 3 years of related experience
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service and customer-focused environment
  • Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying Occasionally (1-25lbs)
