Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to be a part of our team in the Import/Export industry, based in Wilmington, North Carolina. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be immersed in a role that revolves around managing customer interactions, data entry tasks, and logistics operations. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Interact with customers to handle complaints, process orders, and provide information about products and services
use computer systems to record customer details and process transactions
operate basic office equipment
utilize Microsoft Office suite to maintain and update customer records
handle logistics-related tasks
train and adapt to the specific requirements of working within the logistics domain of the Import/Export industry
provide exceptional customer service
ensure accurate and efficient data entry

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
a degree in a related field is a plus
previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the import/export industry
proficiency in using basic office equipment
demonstrated ability in basic office skills
exceptional customer service skills
proven experience in computer data entry
familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
knowledge of import/export industry
ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
strong organizational skills
ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
willingness to work in a team environment as well as independently when required

Nice to have:

Degree in a related field
previous experience in the import/export industry
