Job Description:

We are offering a temp to hire contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Carson, California within the Wholesale Distribution industry. The role involves managing customer inquiries, processing orders, data entry, and providing excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently process orders and provide quotes to customers
Manage customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat
Utilize the correct methods/tools to provide precise, valid, and complete information to customers
Keep customer records updated and documented based on interactions
Develop and sustain knowledge about the product line
Adhere to communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
Handle inbound and outbound calls, providing top-notch customer service
Perform data entry tasks and manage email correspondence
Use Microsoft Excel and Word proficiently in daily tasks
Schedule appointments as necessary

Requirements:

Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing customer queries effectively
Prior experience in a call center customer service role is essential
Outstanding customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Excellent data entry skills for maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records
Ability to handle email correspondence professionally and promptly
Experience with both inbound and outbound calls in a business setting
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
Familiarity with Microsoft Word for creating customer correspondence and reports
Experience in order entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Ability to schedule appointments effectively, with attention to detail and organization
