Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a proficient Customer Service Representative to join our team in Naugatuck, Connecticut. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with various responsibilities ranging from processing customer orders to answering inquiries and maintaining systematic records. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and requires technical savviness.

Job Responsibility:

  • Answering inbound calls and addressing customer inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Data entry tasks including maintaining and updating customer records
  • Handling email correspondence with customers, ensuring all queries are addressed in a timely manner
  • Delivering top-notch customer service while handling inbound and outbound calls
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various administrative tasks
  • Accurate order entry to ensure smooth processing of customer orders
  • Checking and managing customer invoices and purchase orders
  • Coordinating with the sales team for follow-ups and order fulfillment
  • Overseeing shipping and receiving tasks, including weighing packages and labeling
  • Utilizing tech tools to streamline and enhance customer service operations

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Customer Service Representative role or similar
  • Proficient in answering inbound calls with a detail-oriented demeanor
  • Proven experience in a call center customer service environment
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service, effectively addressing customer queries and complaints
  • Proficiency in data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Skilled in email correspondence, demonstrating excellent written communication skills
  • Experience in handling both inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Able to handle order entry tasks promptly and accurately
  • Experience in dealing with customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Familiarity with processing purchase orders
  • Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, ensuring smooth operations
