Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Respond promptly to patient, provider, and payer inquiries via phone, email, or chat
Assist with scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and explaining healthcare procedures or policies
Maintain accurate records of interactions in the healthcare organization's system
Collaborate with medical teams to address patient concerns and escalate complex issues
Educate patients about services and assist with payment processing or billing queries
Ensure all communications maintain sensitivity and confidentiality related to patient information

Requirements:

Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the healthcare or insurance industry
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with customer relationship management or electronic medical record systems
Ability to think critically and resolve issues under tight deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent required
Additional certifications or education in healthcare/customer service is a plus
