Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our client based in Metairie, Louisiana. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with handling customer inquiries and processing their applications in a high-paced environment. Your role will also involve maintaining accurate customer records and monitoring their accounts. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently answer and manage incoming calls in a high-paced environment
Process customer applications in a timely and accurate manner
Utilize Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office to maintain customer records and perform tasks
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions as necessary
Develop strong relationships with customers by providing excellent customer service
Utilize a multi-line phone system to manage customer calls
Adapt quickly and pick up new tasks and systems
Resolve customer inquiries with professionalism and efficiency

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a Customer Service Representative role
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word
Familiarity and capability in handling a Multi-Line Phone System
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-focused with a dedication to providing high-quality service
Ability to manage stressful situations and maintain composure under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and effectively
High level of patience and understanding when addressing customer complaints or issues
Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Must be a team player, but also capable of working independently when necessary
High school diploma or equivalent
a higher degree from a recognized institution is a plus
