Job Description:

Robert Half Lexington is in search of several Customer Service Representatives to join a team in the hospitality industry at a company located in Lexington, Kentucky. In this role, you'll be focusing on managing and processing customer reservation requests, ensuring accurate data entry into a reservation system, and tackling a variety of issues over the phone, all while maintaining a fast-paced work environment. These openings are for a 2nd shift schedule with various days of the week, and some schedules including weekends. Clients of this company are located across the country in various time zones and CSRs need to be available to assist!

Job Responsibility:

  • Efficiently process reservations and modifications of existing requests
  • Accurately input customer reservation details into the system
  • Use problem-solving skills to assist customers and hotels with issues over the phone
  • Communicate professionally with all clients and departments to address their needs and issues
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls within the department's Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals
  • Start and complete assigned tasks on time
  • Perform additional duties as needed or assigned
  • Handle customer inquiries and ensure appropriate actions are taken on customer accounts
  • Maintain accurate customer credit records
  • Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the hospitality industry
  • Previous role as a Customer Service Representative or similar position
  • Proficiency in handling both inbound and outbound calls
  • Experience working in an inbound call center
  • Excellent skills in call center customer service
  • Ability to effectively resolve customer service issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • High level of patience and professionalism when dealing with challenging situations
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices
  • Ability to adapt to different types of customers and situations
  • Willingness to work in shifts, during weekends, or holidays if required
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated
