Job Description:

John Deere Financial is seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals to join its Social Media Care team as a Customer Support Representative in Johnston, Iowa. In this contingent role, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with a world-class organization, providing technical assistance and solutions to customers through cutting-edge social media channels — all while enjoying the benefits and support of working through Robert Half.

Job Responsibility:

Handling live customer interactions on John Deere’s Social Media platforms, email, and website
Taking on questions about product availability, compatibility, technical issues, and loyalty programs
Ensuring excellent customer experiences while documenting interactions effectively
Monitoring social channels and approving outbound content for accuracy and quality

Requirements:

6+ months of customer service experience
Proficiency in interpersonal and written communication
High comfort level with using consumer software applications
Demonstrated familiarity with platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond
Ability to troubleshoot computer-related issues effectively

Nice to have:

Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Communications, Marketing, IT, or a closely related field
Prior experience using Social Media for business purposes
Knowledge of agriculture, turf equipment (mowers), and utility vehicles
