Job Description:

Randstad are currently working with an exciting public sector client to find a Cyber Solution Architect (Data Protection) on a 12-month contract with potential for extension. The primary purpose of the role is to develop and enhance cyber security architecture capabilities, with a focus on Data Protection technologies, operations, risk, compliance, and process improvement. Ideal candidates will have experience in cryptography, PKI, DLP, DRM, and Information Classification.

Job Responsibility:

Lead and role model customer focused behaviour by encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing
Lead strategic planning, initiative prioritisation, and investment planning
Develop the road maps for strategic Data Protection improvements that achieve maximum business benefit
Advise solution architects, cyber security consultants, and other solution delivery stakeholders on Data Protection capability areas
Deliver using agile methodologies and lean methods
Maintain knowledge of emerging cyber security trends and technologies
Contribute cyber security technical expertise to cross-functional project teams
Produce cyber security architecture artefacts and documentation
Operate in accordance with legislative and procurement requirements
Lead performance excellence by setting direction and standards
Give and receive feedback for improvement and performance development

Requirements:

Knowledge of modern cyber security risk management and control frameworks
strategic cyber security architecture
business architecture/strategy
Knowledge of IS18 (Essential 8, ISO27001), PCI-DSS, and the PSPF/ISM
Knowledge of the Data Protection capability areas, inclusive of the vendor/provider landscape, as well as design/implementation/operationalisation considerations and good practices
3+ years of experience in Data Protection technologies and/or solutions
5+ years of experience in Cyber Security
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology
Computer Science
Cyber Security
Software Engineering or related disciplines
