Job Description:

Our client is urgently looking for Data Analysts to join their team due to immense growth in their portfolio. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with strong skills in data analysis and experience in the banking and financial services sector, specifically financial crime domains such as transaction monitoring, customer screening, etc.

Job Responsibility:

Provide critical support to Financial Crime portfolio and capabilities
Analyze and transform data accurately for business strategy
Investigate, profile, and identify data gaps
Prepare requirement specifications and data mappings to target systems
Build controls and implement solutions for data issues.

Requirements:

Advanced working knowledge and understanding of SQL, data life-cycle, data warehouses, data architecture and data transformation
Advanced understanding of profiling data, investigative and root cause analysis to identify gaps and implement and build controls
Source system data analysis to prepare requirement specification and data mapping to target systems to support a number of Financial Crime Capabilities
Proven experience working with large data integration projects, data analysis for 3+ years including intermediate knowledge of SQL databases, query languages and conceptual data modelling
Proven experience working with data management including CDE data lineage, Data Flows and source to target mapping
Proven experience in Financial Services for 2+ years of which 1+ year experience in Financial Crime (e.g. Transaction Threshold Reporting, Transaction Monitoring, International Funds Transfer Instructions, Customer and Payment Screening, Customer Risk Assessment, Tax Reporting)
Extensive experience with SQL & Teradata
Financial crime experience is a must
Preferably coming from banking background.
