Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Data Collector in San Francisco, California. This role is set in the fast-paced environment of product development, where you will be instrumental in testing a mechanical gripping device. The position involves a physical aspect and requires the ability to work autonomously.

Job Responsibility:

Testing a mechanical gripping device by lifting various household items
Providing detailed feedback to the engineering team on the performance of the device
Handling the device, weighing approximately 7lbs, throughout the day
Working independently with minimal communication with the engineering team
Navigating around San Francisco and South San Francisco for on-site testing
Undergoing initial training at headquarters before deployment to on-site locations
Utilizing a personal vehicle for commuting between testing sites
Standing for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day
Ensuring safe handling of household items, including lifting items overhead

Requirements:

Proven experience in administrative assistance
Strong customer service skills and experience
Expertise in data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Proficiency in order entry, managing and tracking orders effectively
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in using data collection software and tools
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively
High school diploma or equivalent
Flexibility to work in different shifts if required
