Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server, ETL/ELT processes, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, and proficiency in Python or C#. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in ensuring seamless data processing, analytics, and the development of solutions that empower key business decisions.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases to support data-driven applications and reporting
Implement and maintain efficient ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) or ELT pipelines to move and transform data across systems
Develop and manage Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, including dashboards and reports, using tools like Power BI or Tableau
Write clean, scalable code in Python or C# to automate data workflows, process external datasets, and manage APIs
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide data-driven recommendations
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through proper validation, testing, and governance
Optimize existing data architecture, identify performance issues, and provide solutions to improve scalability and reliability
Stay up to date on technological advancements, databases, and tools to continuously enhance data practices

Requirements:

Strong experience working with SQL Server, including writing complex queries, indexing, and performance tuning
Proven track record of creating and managing ETL or ELT pipelines for data migration and transformation
Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms
Proficiency in Python or C#, with the ability to develop scripts and applications for automation and data processing
Solid understanding of relational database design and data warehousing concepts
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
