Job Description:

Robert Half is currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk in the Union County, NJ area. As the Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and organization of customer data and communicating effectively with team members and customers. If you have 1+ years of accounting experience and are looking to grow your career, this might be the opportunity for you!

Job Responsibility:

Efficiently handle customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy in every step of the process
keep customer credit records up-to-date, organized, and accurate
monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate actions when needed
review, verify, and approve technical documents
assemble and verify technical document packages, making sure they adhere to relevant specifications
actively participate in quality assurance activities and audits when necessary
identify and suggest potential improvements in the documentation review and technical package assembly processes

Requirements:

1+ years of accounting experience
strong Data Entry skills
proficiency in Microsoft Excel
familiarity with Microsoft Word
knowledge in Finance Administration is a plus
prior experience in Customer Service is desirable

Nice to have:

prior experience in Customer Service
knowledge in Finance Administration
