Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a motivated Data Entry Specialist for a growing company in Rochester, MN. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the organization’s database. This position is ideal for someone with excellent typing skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately input and update large volumes of data into spreadsheets, databases, or other systems
Review and verify data for errors or discrepancies, making corrections as necessary
Maintain the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of all sensitive data
Organize and maintain electronic and physical records for easy access and retrieval
Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and optimize processes
Collaborate with team members and department leads to ensure data aligns with project requirements
Generate reports or summaries based on the collected data as required by management

Requirements:

Proven data entry experience or equivalent administrative work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and familiarity with data entry software
Typing speed of at least 45 WPM with high accuracy
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
