Job Description:

Join a leading financial services provider as a Data Modeller to shape their data engineering landscape. Play a key role in designing data models, mentoring engineers, establishing standards, and driving successful data outcomes with cross-functional teams using advanced tools like DBT, Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Python.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the design and implementation of Data Vault data models across the organization
Coach and mentor Data Engineers on best practices for data modelling and governance
Define and establish enterprise-level Data Modelling Standards to support domain-based reusability
Develop and enforce Data Vault modelling patterns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective data modelling solutions that meet business and technical requirements
Leverage advanced tools like DBT, Spark, PySpark, SQL, and Python

Requirements:

Expert-level skills in Data Vault modelling with a focus on best practices and governance
Experience mentoring Data Engineers and enhancing their data modelling skills
Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve challenges in data modelling
Proven ability to work across teams to drive successful data outcomes
A deep understanding of data governance and the ability to establish enterprise-level modelling standards

Nice to have:

Experience in CI/CD methodologies
Knowledge of data governance frameworks
Experience in SQL
Python
PySpark
