Job Description:

Our client is a prominent law firm seeking an Attorney to join its data privacy team. In this role, you'll be a key player in navigating the data privacy frontier, drafting for impact, building a data-secure ecosystem, mastering contractual intricacies, and guiding innovation.

Job Responsibility:

Navigating the data privacy frontier: Advise on domestic and international data privacy regulations, especially as they pertain to technology companies
Drafting for impact: Craft data protection impact assessments, privacy policies, and product-specific privacy notices to ensure compliance and consumer trust
Building a data-secure ecosystem: Assist in developing policies and procedures for handling consumer rights requests and data breaches, safeguarding sensitive information
Mastering contractual intricacies: Review vendor and customer contracts with a keen eye on data privacy and security concerns
Guiding innovation: Become a trusted advisor to mobility and technology providers, ensuring their businesses thrive in an evolving regulatory landscape

Requirements:

Possesses a powerhouse legal background with 7+ years of experience, honed in regulatory or transactional matters
Boasts a deep expertise and passion for data privacy, with a strong understanding of emerging regulations and their impact on the transportation industry
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and exceptional responsiveness
Provides outstanding client service, communicating complex legal matters effectively and serving as a trusted advisor
Holds (or is actively pursuing) a CIPP certification, demonstrating a commitment to staying current in the field
