Job Description:

Long-term contract employment opportunity for a Database Administrator within the Wholesale Distribution industry. This role involves managing and ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of databases, while working with technologies such as Linux, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and optimization.

Job Responsibility:

Administering, testing, and implementing databases to ensure performance and data integrity
configuring database systems and servers to ensure efficient operation
implementing and maintaining Microsoft Azure and SQL Server databases
utilizing Linux Technologies and MySQL for database management and optimization
conducting AB Testing to improve database performance and user experience
employing Backup Technologies to safeguard data
performing Cluster Analysis to understand and improve database structures
handling Configuration Management to streamline database operations
utilizing Microsoft Power BI and Power BI for data analysis and visualization

Requirements:

Proficiency in Linux Technologies
demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure
strong background in Microsoft SQL Server
proficiency in MySQL
ability to perform Optimization tasks
experience in AB Testing is preferred
familiarity with Backup Technologies is required
skills in Cluster Analysis
knowledge of Configuration Management
strong Database Administration skills
proficiency in Microsoft Power BI
experience with Power BI is highly preferred
