Job Description:

We are in search of a Database Developer to join our team based in Westwood, Massachusetts. As a Database Developer, you will be tasked with managing and optimizing our SQL server, troubleshooting and maintaining API connections, and designing Azure databases from scratch. This role lies within the financial services industry and will be carried out on-site. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and optimize the SQL server
Write SQL code
Troubleshoot and maintain API connections
Design and set up Azure databases
Transfer data to a new cloud-based server
Conduct testing to ensure data integrity
Utilize Power BI to visualize data
Create dashboards to meet business needs
Work with cloud technologies
Handle data sources and ensure correct integration

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' detail-oriented experience as a Database Developer or similar role
Proficiency in Cloud Technologies
Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Strong background in API Testing is desirable

Nice to have:

Strong background in API Testing
