As a Demand Generation Manager at Cogoport, you will mentor and lead the Demand Specialist team, work on business development by building strong relationships with customers, strategize retention and account growth, sell Channel Partner programs, and take ownership of revenue generation. You will have direct impact on organizational growth and profitability.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and Mentor a team of 10-15 Demand Specialists who would be working as individual contributors
Ensure the team builds up trusting and consultative relationships with Customers and provide cost-effective solutions
Create and work on strategies around retention of existing accounts
Sell the Channel Partner program to freight forwarders and customs brokers
Be directly involved in direct sales with Customers
Take responsibility for revenue growth and stream generation
Requirements:
Engineering Graduates with MBA will be preferred
Diploma in Logistics or any related discipline would be an advantage
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience and proven track record in account management and business development
Minimum of 2 years of team management experience
Prior understanding of logistics, freight or supply chain industries and their capabilities would be an advantage
Strong team-management skills
Leadership (Looking for someone who would lead by example)
Excellent client relationship management and rapport building skills
Strong communications and interpersonal skills
Process-orientation and business acumen
Nice to have:
Diploma in Logistics or any related discipline
Prior understanding of logistics, freight or supply chain industries and their capabilities
