Join IKEA Exeter as a Department Sales Manager to lead a team and drive sales growth in a commercial retail environment. Responsibilities include managing department goals, ensuring shop readiness, developing team members, and working with other departments to meet organisational priorities.
Job Responsibility:
Take responsibility for department goals and action plans
act quickly on commercial opportunities
ensure department is clean, tidy, priced and full
develop successful team with correct knowledge of range and IKEA services
work with succession to identify talent and ensure adequate staffing.
Requirements:
At least three years of experience managing people in a commercial retail environment
proactive mindset and ability to collaborate with your team
experience delivering to sales targets and organisational priorities
lead through IKEA Values and inspire those around you
work cross-functionally with other departments and champion flexibility, speed and simplicity
ability to work in line with the IKEA Concept and Brand Identity.

What we offer:
Starting salary of £34,000 per annum dependent on skills and experiences
39 hours a week, working 5 days over 7 (including 1 - 2 late shifts a week), including alternate weekends
