Job Description:

Deputy Lead Engineer position based in Bangalore with responsibilities including overseeing modules, coordinating meetings, reviewing engineering deliverables, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Requires strong experience in SACS, AISC, API, and DNV regulations.

Job Responsibility:

Overall in charge of the modules in his scope
Attending meetings with Client / Vendor’s / Class authorities / Construction Fabrication Yards / Project / other Engineering departments / Interface coordination / 3D Model Reviews / Constructability Review
Review Engineering Deliverables prior to issue
Shall concentrate on critical issue / area of concern & guide the team to mitigate the same
Review of Module wise breakdown MTO
Review of Weight Control Report (WCR)
Reply to Owners or Fabrication Yard on Timely manner
Ensuring all deliverables comply with quality as per relevant industry specifications & standards

Requirements:

Experience in carrying out pre-service (Load out, sea transportation, lifting, launching, on bottom stability), and in-service analysis in-place, boat impact, pushover, blast design
Perform calculations in SACS in place analysis, local FEM analysis using nonlinear methods
Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in SACS
Software's Excellent knowledge in AISC, API and DNV regulations
