We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Design & Build Project Manager to join our client and lead the successful execution of complex office fit-out projects across London. This role requires a deep understanding of design and construction processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage projects from start to finish within a demanding environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage all aspects of Design & Build office fit-out projects, from initial concept design through to completion, ensuring seamless integration of design and construction
Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring efficient and timely delivery
Collaborate effectively with architects, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and requirements
Oversee the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services, and maintaining high standards of quality
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards, prioritizing safety and a secure work environment
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks related to project delivery, including delays, budget issues, or technical challenges, ensuring smooth project execution
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, drawings, schedules, and budgets, ensuring clear and organized records
Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, keeping everyone informed and ensuring transparency
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Design & Build Project Manager on office fit-out projects, ideally within the London market
Strong understanding of design and construction processes, with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes and meeting client expectations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget
A proactive and problem-solving approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome challenges
Degree or qualifications in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is desirable
