Designer, Multimedia

• Design and animate engaging motion graphics for a variety of digital platforms, including web, social media and video
• Create static designs for landing pages, client pages and product that align with KAYAK’s brand identity and marketing goals
• Switch easily between more traditional projects and quick social turnaround timelines
• Edit video content to support internal and external initiatives (executive interviews, sizzle reels, partner videos)
• Develop and present storyboards and design mocks to articulate creative concepts and visual approaches
• Collaborate with the marketing, social and creative teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality visual content
• Apply Figma for design collaboration and After Effects for animation projects
• Support a distributed team by crafting visuals that resonate across diverse markets and cultural contexts
• Work with internal communications teams to help bring our message to our employees, with quick turnarounds
• Stay updated on industry trends and bring fresh ideas to the table to improve our visual storytelling

• Proven experience as a Multimedia Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your animation, design and video editing skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro
• Experience with Figma (or similar) for design and prototyping
• Experience working with AI tools (Runway, Mid-journey, ChatGPT)
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography and color theory
• Ability to build original designs and concepts, as well as adapt existing assets into engaging animations
• Excellent communication skills, and can take direction and work collaboratively
• Experience in art direction and the ability to lead creative projects is a plus
