Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking an experienced IT professional for a Desktop Support Analyst role in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves providing help desk and desktop support, troubleshooting technical issues, and managing user accounts and devices using tools like Microsoft O365, Active Directory, Intune, and SCCM.

Job Responsibility:

Providing help desk and desktop support to our team members
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to computer systems, hardware, and software
Utilizing your expertise in Microsoft O365 and Active Directory to manage user accounts and access
Leveraging your skills in Intune and SCCM, if available, to manage devices and applications
Ensuring the smooth running of Windows systems
Applying your strong problem-solving skills to identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues
Utilizing your excellent communication skills to provide clear, concise technical assistance

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Help Desk Analyst, Desktop Support Analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge and experience with Active Directory
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with installing and troubleshooting software and hardware
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus programs
Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
Strong organizational and time-management skills

Nice to have:

Mac knowledge
Experience with Intune and SCCM
