Job Description:

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Desktop Support Engineer in Delray Beach, FL. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will be expected to provide comprehensive technical support for desktops, mobile devices, and office software, as well as managing customer inquiries and maintaining accurate records in the detail oriented services industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer customer credit applications precisely and promptly
  • Keep up-to-date customer credit records
  • Manage customer accounts and execute necessary actions
  • Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support for desktop and enterprise applications, as well as local/networking printing, email, connectivity, remote access, and hardware issues
  • Troubleshoot and replace laptop, PC, and mobile devices
  • Perform hardware upgrades, hardware disposal, loaner program, asset inventory, software inventory, remote imaging, new employee setup, termination, relocation, remote and automated updates, and remote support
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot Apple iPad tablets and iPhones
  • Participate in IT Support queue resulting in assigning and prioritizing open issues
  • Perform desktop computer, laptop, and mobile device updates
  • Build, deploy, and image new workstations (desktops & laptops)
  • Set up and configure printers, scanners, and other peripherals
  • Maintain working knowledge of current communications devices and protocol
  • Manage VOIP/PBX telephony systems
  • Handle inventory management responsibilities
  • Understand Firewall Basics - manage ISP outages and oversee small vendor management with Service Providers
  • Knowledge of basics firewalls, switches, APs
  • Comprehend the difference between Static vs DHCP, POE vs Non-POE
  • Understand Security Basics (Antivirus)
  • Proficiency in Android Development, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Expertise in Cisco Technologies, including knowledge of networking protocols and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of Citrix Technologies, with the capacity to manage and maintain Citrix servers
  • Familiarity with Computer Hardware, with the ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues
  • Experience with Dell Technologies, including server and storage solutions
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, with the ability to manage users, groups, and permissions
  • Experience in handling Apple Devices, including troubleshooting and resolving device issues
  • Knowledge of Backup Technologies, with the ability to plan, implement, and manage backup solutions
  • Experience in Configuration Management, with the ability to maintain and update system configurations
