Job Description:

We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on technical support for end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach to resolving technical challenges efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
  • Install, configure, and update Windows/macOS operating systems and applications
  • Manage Active Directory accounts, group policies, and user permissions
  • Support email systems (Microsoft Outlook, Office 365, or Google Workspace)
  • Assist with VPN and remote access issues for employees working remotely
  • Perform software installations, updates, and patches
  • Maintain and troubleshoot SCCM, imaging, and deployment processes
  • Set up and configure new user workstations and IT equipment
  • Document issues, solutions, and IT procedures in the ticketing system
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues
  • Provide basic training to users on IT best practices and security policies

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of desktop support, IT helpdesk, or technical support experience
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user account management
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, and email troubleshooting
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Experience with SCCM, imaging, and software deployment tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
