Job Description:

As a Digital Ethics Specialist, you will contribute directly to shaping AI use across our organization, enhancing the trust of our customers and co-workers in the technology we deploy, with an emphasis on responsible AI. IKEA’s AI Adoption and Governance team is on the lookout for co-workers of tomorrow, who will help spearhead IKEA’s efforts to become a leader in Digital Ethics and Responsible AI. Join us on our journey to shape the future of AI at IKEA while upholding our commitment to ethical and responsible practices.

Job Responsibility:

Development and maintenance of AI systems registry
Craft frameworks for assessing and mitigating AI risks
Translate legal and technical AI requirements into actionable strategies
Collaborate with Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Legal teams
Establish metrics for robustness, fairness, transparency, and accountability in AI

Requirements:

Master’s Degree or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, or related field
Demonstrated experience in assessing current and emerging risk associated with Artificial Intelligence
Experience developing frameworks for ethical implications around the future of AI
Excellent communication skills and can translate AI jargon into easy-to-understand strategies for non-technical stakeholders
Good grasp of deep learning techniques and their foundation
Good knowledge of relevant programming languages (ideally Python), including an understanding of concepts from functional and/or object-oriented coding paradigms, and a good grasp of large data manipulation with SQL
Good knowledge of IKEA's corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
